Methodist Hospital
Amano McGann, Inc. welcomes Methodist Hospital to our growing list of satisfied hospital accounts. Part of the plans for the new Heart and Vascular Center on campus included a multi-level parking ramp. The new ramp would serve both staff and visitors, with part of the ramp dedicated for staff only and the other part to be a mix of staff and patients.

Amano McGann, Inc. was awarded the contract for the parking control equipment which included AGP-1710 autogates, ETP-22 magnetic stripe ticket dispensers, AGP-5210 fee computers, Par-Kut steel cashier booths, and related items. The hospital also chose our recommendations of upgrading to Count/Monitoring Software for space counting and equipment monitoring (instead of the electromechanical counter system originally discussed) and Revenue Management Software to tie-in to the fee computers for audit, reconciliation, and reporting. Third party card access readers were also accommodated in to the system.

The second phase of the project, incorporated after the initial contract, includes replacement of existing parking control equipment at the hospital's large, mixed-use parking lot and upgrades to three other staff-only parking lots. New equipment included AGP-1710 autogates, ETP-22 magnetic stripe ticket dispenser, AGP-5210 fee computers, and related materials. All of the surface lots were tied-in to the Count/Monitoring and Revenue Management Software. Staff-only lots required integration of non-Amano control equipment to the Amano McGann Software.

The entire project has been a great success and we look forward to our continued relationship with the staff from this excellent medical facility!
